Premium Western Forages is a branch of Miles Hay Farms, a family farm in Christmas Valley,
Oregon. We produce alfalfa hay, grass hay, grain, cattle, and sheep. The Miles family came to the Christmas Valley Basin in the 1880's where we have continued to cultivate the land for six generations.
Our regions high elevation, short growing season, aridity, and nightly dew allow Christmas Valley farmers to produce some of the world’s finest afalfa and grass hay.
Our family has been producing hay for the beef, export, feed store, and dairy industry for over 50 years. We feed our own livestock the hay we grow, so we understand the many factors that affect and comprise quality hay.

Miles Hay Farms has decided to change the focus of our operation from commercial, commodity production of hay, to that of taking care of the retail customer.
In an effort to modernize the modern retail hay buying experience, Miles Hay Farms has our extensive product list available online with photos, nutrient analysis, video representation, and recommendations to help buyers make an efficient, informed purchase. Purchases can be placed online via debit or credit card.
Historically the transportation delivery and handling of small bales has provided many challenges for the industry. Through innovation and new technology, Miles Hay Farms is excited to provide mechanized delivery on all purchases.
